Anything that you want to do on campus, you were able to do I mean, we have over 160 student organizations. Anything from Esports, to the Frisbee club. Whatever you want to do, you can do, and if there's something that you don't see that you want to do, you can start your own organization. All you need is five members and a faculty advisor to get it started.
Louisiana Tech has what's called Lambright. It's our recreational center here on campus. It's free for students to use when they're here. So we have six basketball courts, two gyms, an indoor pool and outdoor pool, a bowling alley, racquetball, pool tables, ping pong tables, rock climbing wall, I mean, you name it, and also houses are intramural offices. So any intramurals you want to play, and we have everything from football where we get to go on to the football stadium, actually, and play our games.
What made Tech so appealing to me was that it offers a large campus vibe and a large campus opportunity with the small campus knowledge. Students and faculty really get to know each other. When you walk across campus, you're likely to recognize many of the students you're going to make friends in class, you're going to see them at the gym, at the rec center or at sporting events.
So I joined Greek life. My freshman year I was in a sorority on campus. We make a great impact on the ground in our community and outside. Being involved on campus, I think is the key part to having the college experience. I know that my experience wouldn't have been what it was without that.
