I figured out that Louisiana Tech was the place for me whenever I came to campus for the first time, and I just realized it's a community. You're a person here on Tech, you're not just another number.
Touring campus, I toured at least three times I can remember. Every time I've always experienced something new, and I just-- all those new experiences made me want to come here more.
The moment that it clicked for me that I was supposed to be here was one late night in Hale, and it was a lot of us in Hale, and we're all working and you know, we're all a little bit tired. But we were so able to laugh and have fun and that was like the first time, even though I was a little bit stressed from work. I still felt okay. I felt like I had a family here. And I knew that I wanted to stay here. It's the Tech family, did all my classes and then I took the "I" out of it. And I said, Brandi, you didn't do all of this on your own. You had the Tech family like by your side, leading you through each obstacle.
I think if you're on the fence of going to Louisiana Tech, then if you're looking for a place where you can feel like home, and make those personal relationships with a bunch of people, you're going to definitely find your place here.
