When I was in high school, I toured many different colleges, but I ultimately ended up on Louisiana Tech because it had the homey feel that I didn't necessarily feel in other schools.
And I felt like Louisiana Tech instantly wanted to know me for me.
And I felt that throughout the College of Business and all throughout the university.
I really, really love the quarter system.
It's the only college in Louisiana with the quarter system.
It's great at holding me accountable and my classes are super engaging.
I think for me the biggest plus of tech is the size.
It's always going to be small enough to where you'll see somebody that you know, but it's also big enough to where you'll always see somebody that you don't know.
It's a great campus environment and overall just allows you to again meet a lot of new people while still having the same familiar faces around.
Being from out of state where drew me in West Louisiana culture and Louisiana Tech really put the cherry on top by just the small community that we have here.
I really got to see how beautiful and small the school was, which has allowed me to become closer with my professors.
I get more one-on-one time with them in my classes.
And on top of that, I know that I can just walk into any professor's office and immediately they're all very charismatic and approachable.
To all my high schoolers out there still deciding whether or not to attend Louisiana Tech, I believe that this college is a great fit for you because of the size of campus, the sports life, the academics and student life engagement and in the overall community of Rustin.
Here at Louisiana Tech, you're going to find people that support and care for each other.
I found my home at Louisiana Tech and I hope you can find your home here, too.
